World's toughest logical problem......

Three gods A , B , and C are called, in some order, True, False, and Random. True always speaks truly, False always speaks falsely, but whether Random speaks truly or falsely is a completely random matter. Your task is to determine the identities of A , B , and C by asking three yes-no questions; each question must be put to exactly one god. The gods understand English, but will answer in their own language, in which the words for yes and no are “da” and “ja”, in some order. You do not know which word means which.

13 coins - 3 weighings !!!

You are given 13 identical coins one of which is a counterfeit and weighs slightly more or less (you don;t know which) than the others......You are given a balance scale which lets you put the same number of coins on each side and observe which side (if either) is heavier.......How can you identify the counterfeit and tell whether it is heavy or light, in 3 weighings?

Unfaithful Husbands Puzzle

"Once upon a time, there was a small country called Mamajorca, where very smart women rule the land.

One morning, the Queen decided to put an end to the problem of male infidelity in Mamajorca. She summoned all the women heads of households before her and read the following statement :

"There are (one or more) unfaithful husbands in our country. Although none of you knew before this gathering whether your own husband was faithful, each of you know which of the other husbands are unfaithful. I forbid you to discuss the matter of your husband’s fidelity with anyone. However, should you discover that your husband is unfaithful, you must shoot him on the midnight of the day you found out about it."

Thirty-nine silent night went by, and on the fortieth night, shots were heard.

 Why were there shots on the fortieth night, but not before?what is the no. of unfaithful husbands?                                                                                                                                                  Note:All the unfaithful husbands were dead on 40th night and no faithful husband was shot."

3 People - 5 Hats Problem

Once upon a time the king of  Spartans declares his daughter's marriage....the one who win all the levels wins the princess....3 intelligent people came to the final level...

Let's say those three people are  A,B and C.......the kings took them to a cabin...which has no reflective walls....

The king brings 3 WHITE and 2 BLACK caps to the cabin and puts a randomly selected cap on each one's head...and each of the three(A,B,C) can see the caps on the other two but cannot see the cap on his head...if any of the three tells the correct color of the cap which is on his head he will win the princess..if he tells wrong,he'llbe hanged....(Let's say, the color of cap on B's head is white,if B answers his cap's color as white, he will win,else if he say black he'll be hanged).

...the king asked those three people to tell the color of cap on your head...

Suppose you are "A"....and u can see the colors of the caps on both B & C and both the caps are WHITE in color....B & C couldn't find the correct answer so they didn;t tell anything(B & C are equally intelligent)....but A(here you) being intelligent than the others correctly tells correct color of the cap on his head and wins.... tell me how its possible....

(note: 1. there are no reflective surfaces in the cabin,

2.the three people couldn't help each other(this is obvious,of course)
